Will the Commissioners’ office need to be remodeled to find space for two more commissioners, a county manager and extra staff?

Part-time commissioners will not be at the courthouse full-time like they are now. They will not need private offices. The office space available now will accommodate a manager plus offices where commissioners can meet with constituents. They can also use Anne Basker Auditorium for meetings that include more people than the conference room can accommodate. The commissioners’ office had three staff members until they fired one shortly after Herman Baertschiger took office so there is room for another staff member.
