CRG: What do you believe are the most relevant issues currently facing the county right now? And what would be your six-month plan to tackle those?

I believe the biggest issue we face right now is the lack of trust in our leadership. Over the last few years, our leadership has really lost the trust of the communities. Recently, there has been a lot of belittling of constituents who disagreed, which made it even worse. And I believe that the bulk of the county is really tired of not being heard and listened to and being mistreated by our elected officials, or not really our elected official, but our government leaders. So rebuilding that trust, we can say the buzzwords of accountability and we can say transparency and all these things, but really what it comes down to is just being a decent human being to the people of our community and treating them with the same respect that I would like to be treated with myself.
