Congratulations Grants Pass Garden Club, founded in 1926. From its first days the Club’s mission is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening in the community, to aid in the protection of native floral and fauna and to encourage civic planting. This energetic group works all year to prepare for its annual plant sale in April. Money from that is distributed for horticulture scholarships, school garden projects, civic plantings and other beautification projects. The Club also provides funds to make sure our veterans are not forgotten. Blue Star Memorials have been placed along I-5 and Blue Star and Gold Star memorials have been installed in Riverside Park.
The Club meets the first Wednesday of each month at noon at the Fruitdale Grange. More information is at grantspassgardenclub.org.
