The library lease was approved and signed by both the commissioners and library representatives. 

The lease, which is a public record, will not be available online, so we are providing it: Library Lease  

The new, five-year lease shifts routine maintenance of the inside, outside and grounds to the library, while the county remains responsible for the structural items (e.g., the foundation, exterior walls, etc. The library will contribute to the roof replacement from their maintenance fund.

Starting in January, more volunteers will be needed to help with the new responsibilities. Please keep an eye open for these new volunteer opportunities. As we learn more, we’ll post the information here.
